LQ-2 Limit Quick Release Valve - 3/8 Inch
The LQ-2 Limiting & Quick Release Valve is designed to limit front axle brake application by 50% and works as a quick release valve for that axle. It's commonly found on pre-121 (pre-1985) vehicles.
It is controlled by a TW-1 control valve on the vehicle dash, which allows it to be placed in the 50% limiting position in case of driving on slippery road, or in the normal position in case of driving on dry roads.
In the normal (dry road) position it will deliver full application pressure.
Comes with Safety Cap to Protect the Threads and Mechanism prior Installation.
Technical Specifications:
- Supply port A size = 3/8" pipe thread.
- Delivery port B size = 3/8" pipe thread.
- Delivery and Exhaust Ports.
- 19/32" diameter mounting holes at 1 1/2 on center.
