AD-IP/AD-IS Air Dryer Purge Valve Replacement Assembly
The Purge Valve is a component of the integral purge air dryer whose purpose is to collect and remove air system contaminants before they enter the brake system which contributes to increases the life of the system and reduces maintenance costs.
The purge valve assembly incorporates a turbocharger cutoff mechanism intended to prevent loss of engine ?turbo? boost pressure during the purge cycle of the air dryer.
For easier maintenance, this valve and all replaceable assemblies can be changed without removing the air dryer from its mounting on the vehicle.
